It is easy to see why the RHS granted this plant the Award of Garden Merit in 2006! Its dusky foliage is thick and fleshy, contrasting beautifully with the large, dense flower heads of tiny star-like flowers that start out bicolored pink, and mature a rich mauve. Plants are upright and compact, and may be left intact after flowers are spent for winter interest. S/M-DGDr PP17671
