This highly attractive Russian sage is very easy-going, compact, hardy, and heat tolerant. Airy gray-green foliage is wonderfully fragrant, as well as the violet-blue summer flower spikes. This is a deciduous, woody perennial with sturdy stems which stand firm through wind and rain. Leave silvery stems through winter, and cut back in spring when new foliage begins to appear. Drought, deer, rabbit, clay, urban and coastal tolerant, while attracting butterflies and other pollinators! A truly remarkable plant! S/M-D/GDr
