Dainty forget-me-not-like blooms stand well above the foliage on sturdy stalks. Humming birds are attracted to the bright blue, five-petal blooms with a ring of white in the center. Pacific hound's tongue is a host to the Wild Forget-Me-Not Moth (Gnophaela latipennis), and the root has a long history of indigenous medical uses. PSh-Sh/M
