This spectacular cultivar was selected by florists in Japan for its incredible dark-pink pussy willow flowers. The large blossoms age to a beautiful soft silver. Reaching 6-8' it is a stunnng shrub. Named for Mt. Asama, which is a Japanese volcano whose name is often used for red-flowered plant selections. This willow is a wonderful specimen plant for ponds edge or large container. S/M-W
